Deployment of temporary flood defences in high-risk areas has started today, says Dublin City Council. The city council has warned of flooding in costal areas such as Clontarf and Sandymount. A €33m bus rapid transit route called Blue Line is being proposed between Sandymount and Sandyford in south Dublin.
