Three charged for Coolock killing

Gardai say two men are to appear before the courts in relation to the killing of Lukasz Rzeszutko in Coolock on October 2 last. A juvenile was also to appear in court today in relation to the assault.

The 27-year-old man, a Polish national, died in hospital two days after he was assaulted at Newtown Industrial Estate.

The dead man was, according to Gardai, on his way to work in nearby premises. He was discovered on the roadway in the industrial estate with serious injuries. Gardai were called at about 5am on the night.

“A 27-year-old and a 20-year-old will appear before CCJ 2 Friday next, January 14.  A 17-year-old appeared before Juvenile District Court 55, Smithfield earlier today,” said Sergeant Gerry Curley of the Garda Press Office.
