Talk on the future of urban cycling

Peter Cox from Chester University will be in Dublin to give a talk on the Future of Urban Cycling tomorrow Tuesday, November 2, at 7pm.

As well as an historic overview of urban cycling, Cox will ask the question: “How do we ensure that we are planning and building for the future and not the past?”

Cox’s research is in the area of sustainable mobility, with a focus on the sociology of cycling. He has written a number of books and papers on cycling.

Hosted by the Dublin Cycle Campain, the event takes place at The Greenhouse (formerly ENFO) on St Andrew Street, Dublin 2 — it’s opposite Dublin Tourism and between Dame Street and Wicklow Street.
