Man arrested for River Road shooting

A 28-year-old man was arrested today in Finglas for the shooting on River Road on July 15.

Two men were injured in the shooting, one of those were seriously injured. Gardai say it is the first arrest in this case.

“The man was arrested this morning the 29th of November 2010 in Finglas and is detained at Cabra Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act 1939 for unlawful possession of a firearm with intent to endander life. He may be detained for up to 72 hours,” said Sergeant Jim Molloy of the Garda Press Office.
