Three men arrested in connection with Tallaght shooting

Gardai arrested three men this morning in connection with the shooting of a young man in Tallaght almost two years ago.

Father-of-two Robert Delaney was shot in the head in October 2008 as he looked out his bedroom window following a knock on his door. The 27-year-old suffered severe brain damage and is currently being treated in Tallaght hospital.

Two men, aged 31 and 57 are being questioned at Tallaght Garda Station whilst a third man, aged 32 is currently being held in Rathfarnham Garda Station.

It is understood that those arrested are all related.
