Cat travelled across Dublin on Dart

Owners of a cat which travelled on a Dart across the city to Pearse Station are being asked to contact Irish Rail.

The cat — pictured above — is believed to have travelled on the train from Malahide to the Southside city centre station. It got on the Dart somewhere on the Northside, although the exact station the feline fare evader got on at is unknown.

“It doesn’t appear to be a wild cat, it’s well fed,” Irish Rail spokesman Barry Kenny told Newstalk. He said they are currently calling the cat ‘Dart’ because of the way it is running around their office.

Owners of the cat are being asked to call Sinead in the Dart office at 01-7033644.
