Space hopper World Record broken in Dublin

At least 1,500 people jumped on space hoppers this afternoon in Dublin to break the Guinness World Record for the most people bouncing on space hoppers at once.
The event on Upper Mount St, off Merrion Square, was part of the Street Performance World Championship in Dublin. It was organised for charity Africa Aware, which helps AIDS orphans and abandoned children in Malawi.
“The record was definitely broken, we’re waiting to hear the final count but you can take it that it is a new world record for the most amount of people on space hoppers. It went brilliantly,” said Conor McCarthy, founder of Emergent Events which coordinated the attempt.
